Obviously this one has a lot on the line. It’s crazy this is the first time they’ve met in the tournament. Coach K is 50-49 against UNC in his career. It’s living up to the hype so far. If you think the midrange isn’t alive, go watch this entire game again.

And UNC just played the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half with the same 5 guys. The only reason they subbed is bc a guy rolled his ankle and he came right back in.

I remember the last couple years seeing the numbers of how their series record was 500 or one game above and below. And I saw a stat earlier today that Coach K’s career record vs UNC was 50-49. I knew he was in trouble then.

Speaking of midrange, oats said the other day on field of 68 podcast that mid range shots are allowed and he doesn’t tell the players not to take them, just that they are not the shots his offense are designed to create. I think we will see a few more of them with some of the players we have coming in that will pull up from 10-15 and take it when the rim is protected. I think perception is our guys are told no mid range shot allowed

It's not that it's not allowed but players are going to do what the coach emphasizes. I started to make a thread talking about how these teams take and make the mid-range; that's good coaching IMO...

Lol something tells me I’ll care a lot less about how you two feel About oats here in a couple months. Board has been quality time passing entertainment. I can’t wait for him to be here and I CANT WAIT for my wife to not be pregnant anymore bc my god it’s been awful
