Did the loss of Eddie Williams in our rotation of 5 stars studs recruited at safety cost us the NC last year? How bad do you think his thuggish behavior cost our program as far as the loss of talent Saban sufferred?
Off the top of my head its not often that a 5 star gets kicked off... maybe a bust here or there, but most respect their talent level to take it serious...
I was at the Sugar and when Jabriel Washington got beat deep, would Eddie Williams not have ballhawked that deep route? No knock on J. Washington bc OSU had some playmakers and I know he was giving his best.
I give this thread a 2 out of 10, but if you are up too late, feel free to debate. Would Eddie Williams been a contributor in your minds to help us get over that hump with Ohio State. I have no doubt we would have beaten Oregon's ass.
Anybody got any thoughts on him in terms of how much of a contributor then and now EW would be and could be, or was he overrated beyond just thuggish?
