Did Roy Williams no this was calming into that impact is decision to retire? Can't believe hes a big fan of a guy like Bruce pearl. Despite the issues at Carolina…Pearl does it again. Huge get for them.
Did Roy Williams know this result was coming and that impacted his decision to retire? Can't believe hes a fan of Bruce pearl despite the issues Carolina has hadHas your fan base decided the guy they didn't want 12 hours ago now makes the team the best front court?
he wasn’t very good until he decided to play AU tbh. he and jabari smith tho....hggnnhhhhHas your fan base decided the guy they didn't want 12 hours ago now makes the team the best front court?
definitely a possibility. bama a very strong team.Bama will sweep them again.
Another site indicated he almost went to AU the first time. Not sure why we didn’t pursue him tbh
I think the inability to adjust has caught up to Roy and a lot of the other Blue blood coaches. Ole Roy probably decided he didn't have the desire to start over again at 70. While he has shown the ability to develop players his use of the big man is antiquated. How he got Kessler to sign to start with is a mystery.Did Roy Williams no this was calming into that impact is decision to retire? Can't believe hes a big fan of a guy like Bruce pearl. this. he was a lock the minute he decided to transfer.Another site indicated he almost went to AU the first time.
Yea always knew Gonzaga was a stretch. Who would want to go to that liberal shit hole.this. he was a lock the minute he decided to transfer.
i think timme deciding he liked college and chet holmgren made them a non factor. plus, kessler is from the south and his brother works in auburns.Yea always knew Gonzaga was a stretch. Who would want to go to that liberal shit hole.
Look who is back from the irrelevant zone. Not much to cheer about lately, right?gonna be interesting to see the best back court in college vs the best front court.
"Liberal shit hole?" What does politics have to do with a college kid's desire to transfer?Yea always knew Gonzaga was a stretch. Who would want to go to that liberal shit hole.
A good basketball player?Yea always knew Gonzaga was a stretch. Who would want to go to that liberal shit hole.
I didn’t know they were going to make Bama’s backcourt play against Bama’s frontcourt?gonna be interesting to see the best back court in college vs the best front court.
A catholic university in Eastern Washington is liberal? hahahaha... I've heard it all.Yea always knew Gonzaga was a stretch. Who would want to go to that liberal shit hole.
Doesn't fit CNO's system, doesn't have fast twitch muscles, would not earn many - if any hard hat points, stands flatfooted most of the time, has good hands, a taller and more graceful Galin Smith...Not sure why we didn’t pursue him tbh

From UNC insiders - Roy absolutely despised the transfer rule... was it the reason he retired ? Not entirely but contributedI think the inability to adjust has caught up to Roy and a lot of the other Blue blood coaches. i have to say i agree with all of this. spot on.Kessler is a really solid addition, but not a huge game changer imo. He’s slow and is not a good defender, will have to develop his shot to play freely in Pearl’s system, and he pretty soft. He has a lot of talent, but he has a lot of work to do.
Really nailed that one Harper. Leads nation in blocked shots.Kessler is a really solid addition, but not a huge game changer imo. Can a guy not develop his game? Pearl is one of the best developers in the country and he did great work on Kessler. The potential was there and he’s getting the best out of him.i have to say i agree with all of this. spot on.
If he developed him from that to what he is now that fast, Pearl is the greatest ever. I think Kessler was already a lot of what he is. And I’m sure Pearl has helped him. But more likely Pearl knew what he was getting and he’s just put him in a spot to succeed. Can a guy not develop his game? I’m not doubting Walker already being good. I just said what I saw from him at UNC which was accurate. Roy didn’t let him play his game and Pearl is. That’s been the difference, but he got a lot better too.If he developed him from that to what he is now that fast, Pearl is the greatest ever. I think Kessler was already a lot of what he is. He’s gotten better. He’s gotten better recently. But I think it’s more of Pearl putting him in a spot to succeed.I’m not doubting Walker already being good. Players biggest year of improvement is from fresh to soph year... couple that with a coach that plays a style more befitting his skill set. He’s gotten better. He’s gotten better recently. But I think it’s more of Pearl putting him in a spot to succeed.
