frustrated with this team at times but we do alot of things well. the effort is there. we have bediako, holt, and jd playing as freshman learning on the job. q and rojas come up big time. maybe we will get hot at the right time and make a run.

We may do a lot of things well, but the one thing we don't do well is play defense. At least consistently. Ellis is best defender, and virtually everyone else is a liability on that end. Shack and Q always seem to be at least one step behind the dribbler, although I thought Q showed improvement last night. JD just flat out looks lost on the defensive end. More often than not it seems when the other team hits an open 3 it's his guy that he either completely lost or is too slow to close out on. I swear it seems like Bediako starts the game with 2 fouls before the opening tip. Seeing as he's always in foul trouble, he becomes less aggressive on that end or he's on the bench. Gary is just in a funk right now and almost looks like he's never played the game before. I'm thinking his injuries are way more serious than we were told. Last night it was obvious he was frustrated. Miles plays good defense in spurts, but is usually good for a couple of quick stupid fouls and really gives you nothing on the offensive end. Holt seems to be a good defender, but definitely looks like a true freshman on the offensive end of the court. Rojas is a tough guy on defense, but he plays like a bull in a china shop and when the refs are blowing the whistle as frequent as the last 2 games he ain't gonna be on the floor long and he should never take a shot outside of 3 feet on the offensive end.
