So I guess you'd argue UGA, Mizzou, and Miss St., have better coaches, systems, players, programs than Houston, Baylor, and Gonzaga???
I'm guessing this thread was a lame attempt to get out in front of a loss so he could "I told ya so" everybody tomorrow night. Wouldn't shock me if Bama layed an egg tomorrow night but to start a thread proclaiming Vandy as this great team we should all fear more than an actual good team is embarrassing.
Maybe you just can’t comprehend. I said I’d rather play some higher seeded teams than Vandy. And you tried to spin it to say they were great.
You also used the UGA, Mizzou and Miss St loses and the Gonzaga, Baylor and Houston wins as your argument. That would be my argument. Vandy is a much lower seeded team than say, Kentucky.
We have played better against higher ranked teams. So you want us to play a lower ranked team, which we haven’t played well against, that’s getting better and playing well. And they also have the leading scorer in the league, to go against our guards that haven’t defended great.
So anyway, thanks for your help in making my point.
You just said it doesn’t matter who’s on the other side, now your asking me to compare 6 teams coaches, systems and players. I thought it didn’t matter?
Sometimes teams grow and get better throughout the year. Sometimes teams play well at the right time. Sometimes teams have a difference maker that plays lights out at times like this. All three of those could be the case for Vandy.
You started a thread about how dominating Vandy looked against UGA tonight and concluded by saying you'd rather not play Vandy tomorrow night. I argued Bama's game against Vanderbilt is more about Bama than it is about a team they have already beaten to which you laughed. Do explain how your OP doesn't reek of unjustified fear? If you were scared of a healthy UT that would be one thing but Vandy? Haha. You know Bama is the better team. Now whether or not that results in a victory depends on which Bama team shows up.

In your last post you claimed I said they were a great team, which is clearly not anywhere to be found. I watch basketball. Vandy is solid. Are they are talented as Bama? No. But that doesn’t mean everything, obviously. You just took this my post and made it what you wanted to you could complain about someone that doesn’t wear your crimson colored glasses.

Vandy isn’t awful. Bama needs to get a W tonight before we let Kentucky win so we can rest up for the real tournament

Those were my thoughts. We can be steered towards an L in this one by the refs alone based on what was experienced a couple weeks back. My big screen is safe. Kids Nintendo and nearby remote controls may not be.
Vanderbilt is more than capable of beating us, especially if we foul Pippen 57 times like we did in the first matchup. I was really hoping that Georgia would win last night.
Bama didn’t lay an egg, but lost. And that’s exactly why I didn’t want to play them right now. Never did I say they were great. I didn’t reek of fear or whatever you said. I watch basketball and understand what’s going on. I didn’t want to play them right now and this is why.
Fair enough. No need to go back and forth on it but my thought was that there isn't a single conference opponent that fans should be excited to play. Credit Vandy but Bama isn't good. They have just a good of shot at beating Vandy as they do Ole Miss, UT, or UGA right now.
