We Must Be Who We Are

Despite defensive liability, we must have JQ and Shack on the floor most of the time if we are to be beat good teams.This team isnt built around its defensive prowess.
We have got to out score people. I am not saying to not give the effort on defense. Coach needs to work their ass off improving their effort on defense. We cannot win against
good teams with Herb playing point and getting clear outs to win close games. As bad as JQ and Shack have played , we have to have them play loose and confident and hope their
shooting comes around.We are missing the penetration and kick out Kira gave us.Rojas, Gary, and Bruner deserve minutes but they are going to provide little offense most nights.
Primo deserves more minutes despite his short comings.Bottom line is JQ must come thru and we must be the team they are constructed to be.

Its not an overnight job to change the culture of our basketball program, but I like the way Oats and staff get after recruiting and despite others around here that knock the program.
We have all seen what our seniors can do shooting the ball over the years and some others like Shack can get hot as well. I don't know when we turn our shooting around but with these next few home games, we have a chance to get some tempo and see where we are before conference play begins.
Hoping Nate figures it out.
