I'll keep all recruiting discussion, news, nuggets, etc.. within this thread this weekend!
Weekend visitors
Malik Bryant, Rivals100 linebacker from Jones HS in Orlando, Florida
Isaiah Robinson, four-star offensive tackle from Lamar HS in Arlington, Texas
Bai Jobe, four-star weakside defensive end from Community Christian School in Norman, Oklahoma
Ayden Williams, four-star wide receiver from Ridgeland HS in Mississippi
Jackson Bowers, three-star tight end from Mountain View HS in Mesa, Arizona
Thomas Williams, three-star athlete from Powdersville HS in Greenville, South Carolina
Tavoy Feagin, 2024 Rivals100 athlete from Carrollwood Day School in Tampa, Florida
-Big visit for Malik Bryant as he will announce his top four on May 1 with a decision date set for July 23. I expect Alabama will make the cut.
-Very intrigued with Bai Jobe. He is originally from Senegal. He moved to the US in 9th grade as a soccer player. He has only played football for two seasons. He had a breakout campaign this past season with 16.5 sacks. Alabama has a lot of 'pre-visit' interest. We will see if the interest increases after his trip with the Tide.
-Jackson Bowers received an offers from Alabama two weeks ago. I think Alabama wants to sign two tight ends this cycle. We shall see if they make a big push for Bowers. Arch Manning's teammate, Will Randle is another tight end up the staff has high interest in right now. Randle visited Alabama last weekend.
*I expect more names in town. These are just the ones who have confirmed. Kadyn Proctor, the top offensive lineman in the country. will not visit Alabama this weekend as originally expected. I posted the news on Thursday. He will return to Alabama for an official visit on June 10-12.
Steen watch continues
Will we see something happen today with Vanderbilt OL transfer Tyler Steen? Alabama fans have been waiting all week. We do know that Steen is not visiting anywhere this weekend. His father told me this morning that the decision has been made. Now we wait... Steen took a visit to UCLA last weekend thus the reason for the delay.
