Our staff, which includes long time recruiting analyst Andrew Bone, is stationed right at the center of the action here in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham. We are ready to move forward and provide the best possible coverage of Alabama sports and recruiting for our subscribers.
What Does This Mean For You?
Really, other than a few staff changes, a new logo, and a different twitter handle (@BamaInsider), nothing changes for our subscribers. We have a plan in place set to bring you timely and comprehensive coverage, additional features, more interaction with our staff and in-depth analysis of Alabama sports and recruiting.

Recruiting Analyst
Andrew Bone really does not need an introduction to the Alabama football community. With close to 30,000 followers on twitter and 19,000 likes on BamaInsider message board, Bone is one of the most respected team recruiting analysts in the nation. When it comes to Alabama football recruiting, nobody does it better than Bone. He has the best sources in the Alabama market and consistently provides subscribers with the inside scoop without the fluff. Bone lives in Birmingham, Alabama and is also a licensed realtor.
Tony Tsoukalas
Alabama Beat Writer
We are excited to announce the addition of Tony Tsokalas as the Alabama Beat Writer for BamaInsider. Tsokalas has great energy, is hungry, driven, and joins the staff from the Anniston Star newspaper where he served as their beat reporter covering the University of Alabama. Tsoukalas graduated from the University of Alabama in 2012 where he earned his Journalism Degree and graduated with Cum Laude honors.

Since 2006, Kyle Henderson has proven to be one of the most talented publishers in the Rivals.com Network. Henderson worked for Student Sports home of the Nike Camps and Elite 11 prior to coming to Rivals. Henderson lives in Tuscaloosa with his wife Rebeca, son Kaden (8), and daughter Laci (3). “Honored to be here. Contributing at the highest level is something I’ve worked tremendously hard for. Really enjoy the people of Tuscaloosa and enjoy how they treat one another. TTown has already proven to be a place of Great food, music, faith, and of course football.”

BamaInsider’s primary mission is to serve our subscribers and provide the best possible coverage of Alabama athletics and recruiting. Our ongoing goal is to bring our readers accurate and timely news, innovative features, in-depth analysis, more multimedia with podcasts and video, and to do so with a tireless work ethic. Unlike some other team sites, we are not looking for “click-bait” nor will we sensationalize news in hopes of gaining readers. Also, we want to make our customer’s experience enjoyable and satisfying and that means we plan to be active on the message boards. That means interacting on the forums, providing insight and answering questions. Our staff understands that this is a community and we are here for our subscribers. We understand that Alabama has the most avid fans in college football so that will be our focus of our coverage.
