there has been a lot of talk about signing number one classes , but not having a Q.B. ready. this is my take on what has happened. fact is if you miss on a top rated QB it effects every thing for years to come. when you sign a highly rated Q.B it makes it harder to sign other top rated Q.B'S that year and sometimes the next year.. we have been successful signing top Q.B.'S under saban, but other than A.J. they have not panned out for what ever reason.

missing on our evaluation of these guys has kept us from having a QB ready to go and while they were here waiting their turn it made it harder to sign other top rated QB'S.

star Jackson
phillip sims
cooper bate-- apparently

we have some talented young guys now, but we missed on evaluating some a few years back and they made it a little harder to sign others because of there presence

I think we have the problem solved with cornwell and Barnett, but they may be a year or two away
