After a tough defeat yesterday to Kentucky after the team shot an abysmal 9/26 from the FT line. It was a game we definitely could have and should have won, but unfortunately we couldn't make enough shots. So what does that mean for our standing in the SEC? Here are the current SEC standings:
1) UK 10-2
2) UF 10-2
3) USCe 10-2
4) Arky 7-5
5) Bama 7-5
6) Ole Miss 6-6
7) UT 6-6
8) AU 5-7
9) MSU 5-7
10) UGA 5-7
11) A&M 5-7
12) Vandy 5-7
13) Mizz 2-10
14) LSU 1-11

Alabama has a huge chance to bounce back next week with a road game at #13 Missouri and #14 LSU at home. Alabama should and has to go 2-0 next week to move to 9-5 in conference. Arkansas plays USCe and Ole Miss next week and UT plays U.K next weeks. Both of those should be losses so that's a great opportunity to gain at least 1 game on those 3 teams and move into the 4th seed. This is the biggest week of the year so far I think. Last week could be considered bc we faced two top 25 teams, but this week you face the two worst teams in the league. It's not often you get a week like that so you have to take advantage. Splitting the two games last week were huge but this week we have to win both.

Bracketology:
For those who are just Basketball nuts like myself, you look at all forms of bracketology. Now we aren't on the bubble or very close to it in terms of the NCAA tournament. However, in the NIT we are currently a 2 seed in their bracketology facing 7 seed Colorado at home. There are 7 teams in the NIT according to the bracketology (Arkansas, Bama, Auburn, Ole Miss, UGA, MSU, and A&M).
