the team will show up saturday. we might not be good enough but coleman should be loud. can`t imagine not having alot of energy for this game.

I'd like to believe we will put on a good showing Sat but I'm having a hard time sorting that out. Biggest thing is will we even be healthy enough to run with them? Will Miles and Gary be able to play? Will Rojas be a little closer to 100%?

It would do the program immeasurable good if we pulled the miracle off and Coleman was in a true overflow crowd state and rocking for 2 hrs.

In my mind there are so many "ifs" for us to even keep the game competitive much less win... IF JD shows up and hits outside shots early and follows that by getting to the rim a lot with no turnovers, IF Shack is on fire for 40 minutes, IF JQ is making shots and taking them like he wants to leading to a lot of drive and dish plays, IF Ellis plays the game of his life, IF the few guys we play down low don't get in foul trouble at any point while being effective at protecting the paint, IF we get to the free throw line about 30 times AND we make 75% or more of them.... then maybe. I would toss in an IF about offensive boards but we really just need to shoot at some obscenely high % so offensive boards aren't really there to be had.

Oh, we also need Baylor to basically approach us like we just did with the dawgs and be more focused on something other than the game itself.

The crowd will most likely be rowdy, but will the team? To have a puncher's chance against Baylor, they have to play with intensity and as a TEAM for 40 minutes.

The effort and intensity will be there to start. I’m sure they will come out hot. When Baylor weathers the storm and responds, will the team fold or can they put together a full 40 minutes? We shall see.

I think we'll win or lose in the last minute. We will play them close and would not be surprised with a big win. Like poster above mentioned, prolly then go to the pasture and get skull drug.... although knocking them off at #1 would be some poetic justice.

There is a line from Platoon that kinda fits here…”get your mind right and your ass will follow”! Our mind has not been right for whatever reason since early conference play. This team can be good if it sets it’s mind to it.
