Look at the timeline:
BB was an early enrollee (spring semester, 2015).
I guess he was in Tuscaloosa (summer semester, 2015).
He spent his freshman year as a “red shirt” (fall semester 2015, and spring semester 2016), with summer semester 2016 squeezed between.
He was well into fall semester of 2016 being one play away from starting quarterback at the #1 ranked team in the country. Why not stay, go to school, go to football practice, COMPETE, learn all you from CLC, and a new OC next year, get a degree, even if it takes another year.
Then go, if you haven't won the starting job, and still have two years to play as an upper classman at the school of your choice.
This seems like a better option to me. What am I missing?
