Why did the coaches run a pass play or any play on 1st down with a running game clock at 34 seconds and play clock at 29 seconds.(5 second diff) ? we were in field goal range and game was tied, we held the cards and did not need to rush. Should have run the play clock down to 5 seconds which would create a 10 second diff and do a running play. UT would have had to call a time out or eat the clock. We would have had 3 more downs to use up clock or design plays during the time out. Sorry for the rant, It just sticks in my craw, grinds my gears, gets my dander up. LOL
why? UT game last 35 seconds.
