It was actually 36 points. We've made tremendous progress from the dumpster fire that she inherited, but today showed there's still quite a row to hoe to become elite. I will give her credit, though. She has taken us from the bottom 32 to the top 32. With over 300 NCAA D-1 programs. that's about a 300 position improvement.Seems about right! 40-50 points difference to a top 10 team,
7 years to get to this point. And if her seniors all move on it may be another 7 years before they get blown out by 36 in the 2nd round. I understand the apathy and administrative neglect that has followed this program for basically 25 years- and it is very sad to be honest. But this has existed basically because nobody has cared enough. It was actually 36 points. This team beat exactly one team that made the tourney this season. But the apologists on here are just sugar coating and clueless.Seems about right! 40-50 points difference to a top 10 team,
Bama women’s basketball will remain irrelevant with Curry at the helm. Watch the step back next year.I like women's basketball. Watched back in the 90's when Bama was a contender with everybody but Tennessee. LOL
But this team is way behind on being elite. Glad they made the tourney and advanced to round of 32, but they are not an enjoyable product to watch against a decent team.

Sadly you’re just as clueless as coach curry when she faces good competition. Sad that you even believe we are a top 30 team. lol 😆It was actually 36 points. We were a 7 seed in the NCAA tournament, which indicates that the selection committee thought we were somewhere between 25 and 28. We then justified that seeding with a first round win. Now who's the clueless one @T_WIGS ? We proved it on the court. You've made no secret of your disdain for Curry, and you have the right to that opinion. But you can't use that opinion to distort facts. And the facts are that we were a top 30 team this season. No one knows for certain if Curry is the long term solution, but she's done a very good job against almost insurmountable odds to slowly bring our program back to respectability.Sadly you’re just as clueless as coach curry when she faces good competition. There is a ton more foundational issues that Curry has. You can choose to wear rose colored glasses and hang a hat on a 7 seed if you want. Relationships with coaches in the state and her recruiting is a joke. Anybody can get a bid once in a blue moon to the tournament, especially with some seniors. You talk about a top 30 program and we cant get 30 people in the stands to watch this product and she is one of the highest paid coaches in the conference. lolWe were a 7 seed in the NCAA tournament, which indicates that the selection committee thought we were somewhere between 25 and 28. You are correct. This should be the biggest sign of anything.Curry had a legacy recruit in Jay Barkers daughter and did not land her as she decided on Georgia.
That is an indicator that she is not coming close to earning her pay status.
Her recruiting, especially in state is atrocious.
100% accurate. This year is as good as Curry will ever do in Tuscaloosa. Time to move on.There is a ton more foundational issues that Curry has. Non conference? Cause they did not beat anyone in conference that made tourney. I had Oklahoma St.Three.
