Alabama women are well positioned for the last three games. Alabama presently sits in a fourth place tie, with a very good Miss State team directly in front of us, followed by Florida and Ole Miss. Ole Miss must take on South Carolina on Sunday, so if we are fortunate enough to survive Starkvegas, we should have a one game lead headed into our last two games. Over the last three years there has been a turn around in Bama’s Women’s Program and it is only going to get better.

Here is to a three game run that we need.

Bama will be an 8 seed and get boat raced by UConn or Notre Dame on the second round.

Being the 32nd rated team beats the heck out of being the 69th team, and getting boat raced by UConn and Notre Dame is far better than winning the WNIT, and it dang sure beats where we were when we were having to play in Foster and were finishing last in the SEC every year. It is amazing how many people do not appreciate where this program has been the last three years, compared to the 20 years previous to the last three. Some people do not realize just how bad the program was ten years ago when Coach Curry took over. When she took over they would not even let the women into Coleman without a ticket. The program didn't even know how to win a game in conference when she took over and no one in the Athletic Department cared. Before 2017, Alabama played their games in Foster, where they still practice. I would submit that the Alabama women have the worst practice facility in the SEC, as they are not even allowed to practice in the spare gym at Coleman, which means we have the worst home court advantage in the SEC. As some of you might know, Coleman has a terrible lighting backdrop and if you are not use to shooting in Coleman, how do you expect to perform, which just might be why Bama is so good on the road.

There is only one women's basketball program in the SEC treated as poorly as Bama's women, and I don't know if you would really call Memorial Coliseum in Lexington being treated poorly. Since moving games into Coleman, Alabama is 43-50 in conference play. In the Smith-Hudson era, before Curry came to Bama we were 24-103 in conference play.

While Alabama Women's Basketball was being treated as a third rated stepchild, as opposed to being an unwanted orphan, we all know that no good instate recruit would even consider Alabama, because of facilities. Curry at least has a chance now.

Here is what the last ten years have looked like.

So the women’s team never practices in Coleman? Just find that hard to believe.

Well, see Curry resorted back to her old ways today. Lose by 15 at Miss St ( a decent team but not ranked).

Had 17 points at half time, 28 at the end of the 3rd quarter and a whopping 45 by games end.

Just when you thought .... oh never mind.

Curry beats average to less than average teams, btw it's not rocket science the conference is way down, plays no one in the non conference, will get smoked if they make the ncaa, but keeps her job barely. No relationships in the state of Alabama with coaches with a cracked foundation. This ain't going anywhere unless your bar is set low.
