Women's BB Tonight at 7:00 Biggest game in 21 years

Tonight at 7:00 on the SEC Network, the Alabama Ladies will play the biggest game in years, as Alabama's undefeated women will play South Carolina in SEC play. I would submit that there has not been a bigger ladies basketball game in years since 1999.

Optimism is appreciated but they are stepping way up in class tonight. I would say they are back when they actually make the NCAA tourney, stop every top in state recruit from leaving the state and have more than 200 people in attendance. But yes- big opportunity tonight.

Counting the final 5 games of last season, our ladies have won 12 of their last 13. 2 of those were road wins over top 15 teams Mississippi State and Texas A & M. It took longer than we would have liked, but I believe that Curry has finally turned the corner with our program. Tonight will certainly be a litmus test for just how far we have come. I'll be tuned in and pulling hard for the good girls.

Is this a joke? How is Alabama women’s basket ball back? No tourney in 7 years. Cupcake schedule to start the year. 8-0 but not ranked tells you all you need to know. You’re not back till u at least make the tourney.

They lost. It was close for a quarter. After that the best we could do was keep it around a 10 point game for awhile. Turned it over a lot, which is a women’s basketball thing, but it seemed like we exceeded that. They got a lot of offensive rebounds against us. They had 2 guards go for about 20 a piece too.
One of our players had about 30, which was around half of our points.

Lost by 17 at home to one of the best teams in the nation. Guess they are better- they lost this game by about 35 2 years ago.

They didn’t shoot well and got out rebounded heavily. If they had shot better, it would have been a game.

Sc has 5 girls that are 6’1 6’2 6’5 6’2 6’4 that logged most of the minutes. Rebounding was never going to be easy.
