Hard decision has to be made. I've said it all along this is Curry's best coaching job since she's been here. She rebuilt this roster from last seasons departures into a highly competitive SEC team. Everybody keep saying hey how about the Georgia coach, well she coached circles around the Georgia coach tonight.
Much to the dismay of some (or at least one) of our “fans”, the ladies have played very well down the stretch and are firmly on the NCAA tournament bubble. A win tonight over a Tennessee team that we beat just a couple of weeks ago could very well get us into the tournament. Either way, I’m proud of this team and the fight they’ve shown this season.
Good for the players/ Curry still needs to go. There are a good half dozen reasons I do not need to repeat.
After nine years as our woman’s basketball coach, she needs to be let go. These two games should not save her job! If you look at her non conference foes over the last nine years it’s a joke! The SEC women are down this year. Three outstanding teams and we go 6-10! Look at LSU they were so bad last year, spent money hired a great coach and in the space of ten months are a top ten team!
We have the money, the BAMA name and a new arena being built! Our AD needs to step up and get a good-great woman’s coach!

From what I read two players who both averaged about 11.8 points in high school. We need to hit the portal big time! But imo what big time player would want to play for Coach Curry!
If what you hear about how good our AD is, how long would our mens coach would have lasted with Curry’s record? It’s time for a change and to try for a home run hire!

Simply does not matter. None of the best talent in Alabama even considers coming to Tuscaloosa. She should be fired for that alone.
I keep hearing this argument and it is so not true. We have gotten some good players from the state. I coach here in the State and for every one D1 player in Alabama there are five in most other States. Could the relationship between Doug Bush and Curry be stronger creating a pipeline from the Southern Starz to Alabama? absolutely. It is as simple as getting a coach in that Doug Bush has a great relationship with and then the sky is the limit for this program.
Doesn’t the fact you just said about there being less D1 players in Alabama just make it that much more important that we get them? We haven’t even had a chance with most of them. Didn’t have a shot with Jay Barkers daughter, what does that say?
Show me where any player of the year in Alabama ended up in Tuscaloosa. Even Jay Barker’s daughter left the state. Players go to Tennessee, Florida St, Rutgers, etc.
That’s all you need to know. They were good and they left.
