Davison come back and really become a dynamic basketball player and not just an athlete. He looked like he didn’t belong on the court I’m a big time game last night. While barn freshman looked like he has all year…. Dominant. Hope he comes back and joins an elite incoming class. He can be great. Confidence is everything.

I too wish that he would return but I can't help but think that he is the main player on the team that Oat's refers to as "looking ahead to the NBA."

He was useless last night. Ellis too. JQ and Shack were the only ones that contributed much of anything offensively. Our bigs are a real weakness right now. We are bad weak inside on both ends.

there’s is a difference between NBA ready guys like Jabari and the rest of the lottery picks, and then there is another massive difference between lottery and bottom end of first round guys which is where JD is. Being a first round pick don’t mean the same in bball that it does in football. Jabari would be a borderline all star in the league this year, Davison has years of G league before he will potentially contribute to an nba roster. I know one thing, my expectations for one and dones will be tempered moving forward.

JD has bottomed out as a complete liability and peaked as a stout 6th man this year. Only a few games of that peak…. I think I expected stout 6th man to be his floor for this team.

JD has zero confidence in his shot. He is also reluctant to take the ball to the rim, which leaves him as a place-holding dribbler while Shack and others come off screens to try to get open for a 3.

He will most likely move on if the opportunity presents itself; however, he needs another year of development/experience before he's ready IMO.

JD will be drafted. This year if he wants it and higher next year if he stays. He has played great in all the big games except Auburn. I don't get the hate on this kid. Ellis will be drafted, too. It may be second round, but he is a player.

NBA loves to draft guys strictly off their potential and JD has a ton of that. He needs a lot of work on pretty much every part of his game and especially needs to figure it out between the ears. I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t get drafted. Ellis may be a second round pick and go to the G League.

Both with start in the g league. The nba feels that they can develop guys in the g league that’s why they jump on them in the draft. I think JD will need multiple years in the G league
