Rivals.com has released the initial rankings for 2017. This is the earliest Rivals.com has ever released rankings on players this young, but it's a Rivals100 Watch List. The players are not ranked in order. Several players from Alabama made the initial list.

Will Ignont, four-star linebacker from Buckhorn High School in New Market
Austin Troxell, four-star offensive tackle from Madison Academy High School
Nico Collins, four-star wide receiver from Clay-Chalkville High Schoool
Malcolm Askew, four-star athlete from McAdory High School in McCalla.
Markail Benton, four-star linebacker from Central High School in Phenix City
All six have offers from the University of Alabama.
