Just received a text from the 2015 SG Kobie Eubanks family member I've been in contact with for several months.
According to him they knew the Vick commitment was coming and are okay with it. "Everything happens for a reason, this may be best." he texted. In fact, he said Kansas called Kobie late Friday night to discuss the situation and the visit was then canceled.
The Alabama visit begins tomorrow and according to him, "the phone is ringing off the hook for schools to get the last visit before dead period." He also confirmed what I reported in another thread, that West Virginia doesn't have a scholarship for Eubanks. So as he put it "West Virginia is off".
