Draftwire and WalterFootball.com have Williams going as the No. 1 overall draft pick to Arizona. NFL. com and CBS have Williams going at No. 4 to the Raiders.

Jonah Williams

Another player to declare early for Alabama is Jonah Williams aka the best offensive linemen at Alabama this season. At 6-foot-5 and 301 pounds, Williams had an overall PFF grade of 89.2, his pass blocking grade right at 88.6. On the season, Williams did not allow a single sack and we’ve seen mock drafts have him as high as No 6 and No. 7 overall. CBS.com lists him at 6 going to the Giants.

Joshua Jacobs

Jacobs at 5-foto-10, 216 pounds is one of the most versatile running backs entering the NFL Draft and yes, he’s another player that declared early leaving after his junior season. Jacobs rushed for 640-yards of 120 carries and 11 touchdowns. Jacobs proved to be a good receiver out of the backfield recording 20 receptions for 247-yards with three more scores, and also had 408-yards returning kickoffs, his average was 31.4. NFL.com has Jacobs going at No. 5 overall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their latest projection.

Deionte Thompson

Yet another player declaring early for the NFL draft is Alabama safety Deionte Thompson at 6-foot-2 and 196 pounds. Known as the team’s pound for pound hardest hitter, Thompson’s overall pro-football focus grade was an 88.4 and he was second on the team in total tackles with 78, 31 of those were solo tackles, and he recorded two interceptions. CBS.com and Draftwire.com both project Thompson as a first-round pick going to either Philadelphia or to Seattle.

Mack Wilson

Yes, more Alabama juniors projected in the first round of the NFL Draft. Wilson at 6-foot-2, 239 pounds recorded 65 total tackles this season with two interceptions. Wilson the team’s defensive signal caller posted a season-ending PFF grade of just 71.8 and graded out very low against Oklahoma and Clemson to end the season. Despite the low marks, NFL.com has Wilson going No. 28 to the Chargers, Draftwire has Wilson going No. 32 to Green Bay.

Irv Smith

Yes, another Alabama player leaving after his junior year. Irv Smith Jr. at 6-foot-4, 241 pounds had a very solid season hauling in 44 receptions for 710-yards with seven touchdowns. Smith graded out with an average of 82.3 and both CBS.com and WalterFootball.com mock drafts have him going in round one to either the Raiders or to New England.

Damien Harris

Oddly enough the first senior projected to go off the board is Damien Harris who is projected by both WalterFootball.com and NFL Draftwire to be selected by the Raiders, but WalterFootball has him going at No 35 and NFLDraftwire has him gong to at No. 66. This season Harris ran for 876-yards with 9 touchdowns and also caught for 204-yards out of the backfield.

Other Players

Other Alabama players to watch for the NFL draft include 6-foot-5, 286 pound Isiah Buggs who is slated to go at No. 78 to the Miami Dolphins. Buggs recorded a team-high 9.5 sacks during the 2018 season. Ross Pierschbacher is projected to go at No. 79 to the Atlanta Falcons by Draftwire.com, Pierschbacher started in every game this season at center. Christian Miller a 6-foot-4, 244 pounds outside linebacker who recorded 34 tackles with 8.0 sacks is projected to go No. 83 to Pittsburgh.
