For the first time in over 20 years, they are going to unleash the cares at Talladega. I don't know how many people know this fact, but this will be the most unbelievable race in the history of Talladega. There will be no restrictor plates this weekend for the NASCAR race. Instead of restrictor plates, they have increased the rear spoiler. Ty Dillon tested at 218 mph and said it was to fast and they raised the spoiler to slow him down to 208 mph. If they maintain these speeds, and Dillon thinks he can go 212 mph and they run wide open, you might see some tandem racing; however, there will be an end of the in line racing and you are not going to see the big one, as the cars will be maneuverable and should be able to pass. The best driver in the best car will win, as opposed to what has been happening. NASCAR says the cars will hold the track at these speeds with this spoiler, however, without the plate, you will see racing that you have not seen in years at Talladega.
