Rumblings from both Bama and UGA sources that T-Rob interviewed for the DC job at Bama on Sunday. T-Rob has wanted to carve out his own DC legacy independent of Will Muschamp for some time and the DB coaches for Kirby Smart are also painted with that same brush that T-Rob has been working to get from under. It is believed if he is offered the DC job he would flip from UGA back to Bama like a crazy recruitment. Some UGA and Bama people believe DeBoer offered him the job. We have not been able to confirm that part yet.
Also Caleb Downs, Jalen Milroe and Malachi Moore have been working behind the scenes to keep the team together and keep guys from jumping into the portal.
Weāve also been chasing down the DJ Durkin stuff as well. So far my source who is very close to DJ is eerily quiet and that usually means there is some legit smoke.
Pairing up T-Rob and someone like Durkin as Co-DCs would make sense and help bolster recruiting along with keeping Freddie Roach on the defensive side.

I just talked to a good UGA source and our UGA site guys as well. What theyāve heard is they feel good about holding on to T-Rob for the moment. This stuff is minute-to-minute and day-to-day until all the hires are made and even NFL jobs are settled so take it as this is where it stands on Monday morning.
