Things are going about as expected on the OL recruiting front.

Commitments (3)
Olaus Alinen, Wilkin Formby, Ryqueze McElderry
-Felt pretty good about these three joining Alabama's class for the last several months. All three announced their commitments this summer.

Remaining targets

Samson Okunloa- There are all sorts of rumors floating around regarding some significant NIL numbers presented to the five-star lineman. Alabama is on the short list after his official visit last month, but this one seems like an uphill battle if NIL is a major factor.

Miles McVay- I probably entered the summer with the most confidence in McVay joining the class. He will commit on August 11. McVay will return to Alabama next week after spending three days in Tuscaloosa last month. He considered a visit to Texas next week, but I've heard it's not happening any more.

Raymond Pulido: Alabama loved what they saw out out Pulido last month when he attended the Tide's camp. He made a big move up the recruiting board, and has a green light to commit. Pulido will return to Alabama early next week to spend a few days with the coaching staff. I think Alabama has a great chance to land his commitment.

Wait-and-see
Monroe Freeling- The top player in South Carolina will visit Alabama next Thursday. There is some interest here. He has a good connection with Alabama OL coach Eric Wolford (offered Freeling when he was the OL coach at South Carolina).

Tyree Adams- Another lineman Alabama wants to see a little bit more (likely this fall). Adams recently named a top four of Florida, Georgia, LSU and Ole Miss. We will see if Alabama circles back around in a few months.

Targets who committed elsewhere
Kadyn Proctor-iowa
-It was always an uphill battle for the life-long Hawkeye fan. Alabama held a brief lead after his OV, but Iowa was able to reel him in after his last visit.

Francis Mauigoa-Miami
-There were some NIL factors in-play during his recruitment. He only visited Alabama once for his official visit. Alabama made it into the final group, but he opted for the Canes.

Austin Siereveld- Ohio State
-Alabama had a lot of interest in the Ohio lineman. He knew Alabama wanted to see him in camp. He was ready to announce in May. Alabama wasn't ready to accept a commitment until he worked out for Coach Saban. He went ahead with a commitment to the Buckeyes.

Several other OL who visited, named Alabama as a finalist, etc., but were not heavily pursued.
