This team is so close to pulling off a marquee win. They had both #3 and #8 on the ropes, but just couldn’t close the deal. Ultimately, that’s the difference in a good and great team. This is a good team. Around a 6-7 seed team. The problem is this team is still so new to them, they haven’t clicked fully. Hopefully this tough stretch will help. You have to remember, they just played two teams that have been together a long time and nearly beat them with a team put together just 5 months ago.

The offense continues to find ways to be elite. Last night the 3 ball wasn’t falling at all. What do they do? Go 5 out with Nick Pringle and dominate the paint and boards. Nate Oats’ team doesn’t live and die by the three. They can find numerous ways to score. The two Alabama has to get going are Grant Nelson and Aaron Estrada. Both have been struggling so far in big games.

Overall, I’m still encouraged with the team right now. They have one more tough game with #1 Arizona and then they face Liberty before SEC play. Only 1-2 teams will even be close to the teams they’ve faced in this stretch the rest of the way. I honestly believe they will win 10+ sec games and be fine.
