Some questioned how Alabama would perform in a physical game. Consider that question answered. That was a super physical game where the officiating was very questionable, but Alabama gritted out the win.

Latrell Wrightsell continues to come up huge, Mark Sears did his thing, and Grant Nelson had the best game he’s had in quite some time. Grant didn’t get much offensively going, but he did an excellent job on Tolu Smith. His defense has been a big surprise this year.

Alabama built a 10 point lead, lost it, got it back, and never relinquished it all in the final 7 minutes. That’s a Q1 win that’ll be there all year and as you’ve seen throughout the country, road wins in conference are huge.

Home vs Missouri Tuesday night.
