Alabama
Alabama begins its summer football camps on Wednesday. We will hear of players who have great performances and the ones who earn offers throughout the next month. We will see the top players visit (officially and unofficially) these next four weeks. Most will get announced or reported prior to their arrival. We may not know about some until they tweet or post on Instagram.

It's a little different than it was last year in regards to actually seeing the majority of rising seniors prior to camp. Alabama had not 99-percent of the players who came through last year until June. There have been winter/spring evaluations, spring visits, Junior Days, etc.. There are players who are considered 'takes' right now who may not be in the next few weeks. There are those who are considered 'on the cusp' who may get the green light after they are seen in camp. We will have some who come out of nowhere who outperform the majority of top 'ranked' guys who attend camp like we saw last year with Amari Niblack, Kobe Prentice...

It's an exciting week to get the ball rolling this summer! I hope you all enjoy following the action as we will keep everyone informed on the very latest news. I will have a summer camp blog each week with news and notes which will remain on the front page. I'll have as many interviews as possible from recruits who attend camp. I'll try to focus primarily on the priority targets and official visitors. I don't plan on writing a story on one who Alabama has zero interest in after they participate in camp for the sake of content. They are either a major target or one the Tide has serious interest in.

Below are some of the big recruits to watch this week.

Brandon Inniss, five-star wide receiver from American Heritage HS in Plantation, Florida (official)
Bone says: Inniss was scheduled to visit a few other times, but is finally making it to T-town for the first time this weekend. Will it be enough to push the Tide top the top? The boys at the local Irish pub might have some NIL interest.

Malik Bryant, No. 1 outside linebacker from Jones HS in Orlando (will take official visit in the fall)
Bone says: Bryant took his first visit to Alabama in April. He named the Tide as his favorite after the visit. Alabama is in a great spot, but will take official visits this month to UCF, Florida, Miami and USC. Bryant will announce his decision on July 23.

Jahlil Hurley, Rivals100 cornerback from Florence HS in Alabama (Alabama commitment)
Bone says: Really big to get Hurley back in Tuscaloosa for an unofficial visit after rumors swirled last month of a pending flip to Auburn. Alabama has remained steadfast in its pursuit, but will continue to monitor his recruitment as other visits will likely happen throughout the summer.

Luke Hasz, Rivals100 tight end from Bixby HS in Oklahoma (official)
Bone says: The Razorbacks currently have three tight end commitments including Hasz. This is his second visit to Alabama after participating in the Tide's camp last summer. Alabama has remained in heavy pursuit since last summer. Alabama will give him plenty to think about during his return, but with two siblings currently attending school in Fayetteville it may be a tall task.

Dylan Lonergan, four-star quarterback from Brookwood HS in Snellville, Georgia (official)
Bone says: Alabama remains in the market for a second quarterback. It won't take just anyone. Lonergan has been one of the few names discussed throughout the last year after earning an offer last spring. I am sure Alabama will wait for a final decision from Arch Manning before taking another QB, but Lonergan remains an option.

Riley Williams, four-star tight end from Central Catholic HS in Portland, Oregon (official)
Bone says: Williams received an offer from Alabama in March. This is his first visit with the Tide. Williams has several connections to Oregon. He also grew up a Ducks fan. Alabama will have to really come away with a strong first impression on Riley and his family this weekend. He will also visit Ohio State, Miami and Oregon this month.

Cole Adams, four-star wide receiver from Owasso HS in Oklahoma (official)
Bone says: Adams is returning to Tuscaloosa after attending the Alabama's Junior Day earlier this year. Alabama has expressed a lot of interest in Adams, but we will see if the interest remains high after this weekend. He seems to really like Alabama. A push from Tide this weekend might result in a commitment.

Bai Jobe, four-star outside linebacker from Community Christian School in Norman, Oklahoma
Bone says: Jobe started playing football in ninth grade after moving to the United States from Senegal. Jobe recorded 16.5 during his junior season which has caused a heavy amount of interest/offers. He announced a top eight on Tuesday which included Alabama. Jobe will participate in Alabama's camp on Saturday. It will give the Tide a chance to fully evaluate his current status, and future potential as a player.

Payton Kirkland, four-star offensive tackle from Dr. Phillips HS in Orlando
Bone says: Kirkland arrived in Tuscaloosa on Tuesday night and will remain until Thursday (also plans to participate in camp on Wednesday.) Kirkland attended the Alabama/LSU game last season. He didn't receive an offer until earlier this year, but included Alabama in his top five. He is taking official visits this month to Oklahoma, Florida, Michigan State and Miami. Possibly, saving his final visit for Alabama this fall. Kirkland is scheduled to announce his decision on July 23. I don't think he will leave his home state, but we will see if Alabama can make a move in the next two days.

Elijah Davis, junior college defensive lineman from East Mississippi C.C. in Scooba
Bone says: Davis is currently the only JuCo d-line target for the Crimson Tide. His position coach is former Alabama defensive lineman Brandon Deaderick. Davis is originally from South Carolina, but grew up an Alabama fan.

Zach Myers, four-star athlete from Christ School in Arden, North Carolina
Bone says: Very intriguing prospect who reclassified from 2024 to the 2023 class. Myers is expected to work out at safety during his time in Tuscaloosa. There are always players who seem to come out of nowhere during camp. Is Myers possibly one? Maybe. Alabama will get to see him first-hand on Saturday. Myers is a super star track athlete as well.

Bryce Thornton, three-star athlete from Milton HS in Alpharetta, Georgia
Bone says: Alabama offered Thornton earlier this year during Junior Day. The staff has a lot of interest, but still need to see him in camp. He was offered as a safety. We will know after his performance if Alabama will continue to pursue. Thornton is not expected to make a decision until after the season.

Justin Jefferson, linebacker from Pearl River C.C. in Poplarville, Mississippi
Bone says: Alabama gets one of its top JuCo targets in Tuscaloosa this weekend. Jefferson received his offer from the Crimson Tide on May 19. This is just an unofficial visit for Jefferson as he plans on taking visits into the fall. He will graduate in December. Jefferson is taking officials this month to Oregon and Texas A&M.

Jadyn Davis, 2024 five-star quarterback from Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina
Bone says: The top ranked QB in next year's class will camp with the Tide on Saturday. He also participated in Alabama's camp last June. He spent time around Bryce Young this past weekend at Steve Clarkson's QB Retreat in Santa Monica which featured many of the top HS and college quarterbacks throughout the country.

J'Marion Burnette, 2024 Rivals100 running back from Andalusia HS in Alabama
Bone says: Burnette received an offer from the Crimson Tide earlier this spring. He is definitely one of the Tide's top in-state targets, but the staff will get an up close evaluation of him this weekend. Alabama will have a great chance with him as long as they continue to push.

Tavoy Feagin, 2024 Rivals100 athlete from Carrollwood Day School in Tampa, Florida
Bone says: How about a bet for the first 2024 commitment for Alabama? Feagin calls Alabama "home" where his father, Michael, played for the Crimson Tide (1995-99). Feagin visited Alabama in April. He will participate in the Tide's camp on Saturday.

Omillio Agard, 2024 Rivals100 cornerback from St. Joseph's in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Bone says: Agard is one of highest ranked players in his class (No. 37 overall). He does not have an offer from Alabama yet, but that can change on Saturday. He is also scheduled to attend camps at Clemson. Tennessee and Georgia. The biggest thing Alabama will likely want to confirm is his size, arm length and how much room he has to grow. Agard says he is currently 6-0, 170.

Kylan Fox, 2024 athlete from Grayson HS in Loganville, Georgia
Bone says: Fox has the potential to earn an offer from Alabama on Wednesday. He has accumulated more than 20 offers in the early stages of his recruitment. Many of the big boys want to see him in camp to decide his future position though he appears more likely as a tight end. Some may try to pull him to the defensive side.

I'll add more to this if any notable recruits confirm throughout the week. We'll keep this thread open!
