As COVID-19 continues to increase in States that have prematurely reopened and more and more players are exposed to the virus, can any school afford to place fans in the stands this football season and will AD's allow for football season, as we have always known football season.

It is still not to late for the outbreak to be stopped, but if we are going to have football and open schools in the fall, drastic action is going to have to be taken immediately and we do not have the leaders to take the action necessary.

There is an outside chance that Social Distancing and Mask wearing will solve the problem, but we know that what has happened the last six weeks will not work.

I have been told that under the present situation, there is no school that can afford the liability for attempting to have football season, unless things change. There is also a strong chance that most schools will not reopen for the fall semester, unless it is all done by remote learning.

There is always a chance that once the virus clears most teams and we get herd immunity for the football teams, that we can have a modified season with no fans in attendance. We already know that Baseball cannot even open training camps, if they get an agreement on the length of the season.

The Talladega Race might have a crucial impact on the decisions made for fall sports. If Nascar can pull off limited spectator races, with no spike in the outbreak, maybe college football can do the same.

Right now, I would put the football season on a 60/40 there will be some kind of season.
