Football 🏈 What to watch for in No. 11 Alabama's trip to No. 15 LSU

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama’s postseason hopes hang in the balance ahead of this weekend's trip to the bayou. The No. 11 Crimson Tide (6-2, 3-2 in the SEC) will take on No. 15 LSU (6-2, 3-1) in what will essentially be an elimination game for the College Football Playoff.

According to the Caesars Sportsbook, Alabama is currently a 3-point favorite heading into Saturday’s 6:30 p.m. CT matchup inside Tiger Stadium. The Tide holds a 56-27-5 all-time record against the Tigers, including a 42-28 victory during last season’s game in Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Here’s what to watch for heading into this weekend’s matchup.

Hoops 🏀 Thoughts on Alabama's Blowout of UNC Asheville

Sorry that I am late posting this. We took our basketball team to the Alabama game and did not get home until 2 AM on Tuesday morning and then had a full day yesterday.

What a very impressive first game of the season. Alabama rolled out 10 guys and no matter who was in or came out, there was little to no drop off in production. Sure you can look at opponent, but this is a team that has 10 guys that would play big minutes at ANY SEC school this year. You did not see a barrage of threes, but you saw a team that can score in any way they want, just depending on how the other team will defend them. UNC Asheville tried to run them off the line, so you saw big a game from Cliff.

I am not sure you can tell on TV or not, but Aiden Sherrell is by far the biggest player on the team and he moves very well. He has put on 20+ lb in the offseason easily. Aden Holloway is very comfortable and he will thrive in this system. The one guy who has made the biggest jump this year for me is Mo Dioubate. He has no lost his hustle and grit, but his shot looks better and he has grown in his ability to create for himself and others. He will play such a huge role this year and he could play the Herb Jones role to a T.

It is game 1 and it was an incredible one. Offensively they were elite. Defensively they lock in and guard for full possessions. Cliff adds so much to this team on both ends and he completely changed the trajectory of the team. Get excited Tide fans. This is going to be fun.

Football 🏈 Alabama coaches respond to SEC mandate to stop faking injuries

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama claims it won’t be affected by the SEC’s recent mandate for teams to stop faking injuries. Last week, it was revealed that SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey issued a letter to league coaches, telling them to “play football & stop the feigned injury nonsense.”
