Tennessee and former Alabama LB commit Jaedon Harmon will be on campus for the Georgia game this weekend. With things settling in after its flip, it's not a shock that Harmon would want to make a return trip and the Crimson Tide is still interested in adding a linebacker to its class. Will continue to keep an eye
It was an obvious pass interference the defensive back tackled the BAMA wide receiver before the ball even arrived. My question is has DeBore sent it in the the SEC compliance office?
This is a follow up to my post about hurry up offence last night. I went back and watched the 4th quarter today. On 12 play we had a total of 180 seconds left on the play clock, Exactly 3 minutes. We punted to Georgia with 2:45 left just before their go ahead touchdown. Had we used the clock properly they would never have had their last possession's. That is terrible coaching and could have gotten us beat.
I meant to post the other day. Did anyone see that video? Post game on the way to the locker room, Milroe borderline attacked the guy. When I saw that, it made me feel better about the OC. I knew DeBoer would have us on track offensively regardless but if Milroe feels that way about the OC, it’s a great thing.
On the play before the int Bama jumped offside but the WR false started a good .5 second before the ball was snapped. He was a legit yard down the field and the booth ref gave multiple reasons why it was ok. Did it make sense to anyone??
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — It didn’t take long for Keon Sabb to get the message. The Alabama safety noticed a big rat trap upon entering the locker room this week. Then he saw another one. Then two more on the elevator.
“It got to me right away,” Sabb said of the message left behind by Alabama coaches. “Once you see it, you know it’s not a rodent infestation in here. It’s something else.”
I have a dream where the receiver and defender both have equal chance at the ball. It is the receiver’s chance to catch the ball. While the defender has an equal chance of stopping him from making the catch without pass interference. How much more exciting would that make the game? How much would that take officials out of controlling the game.
Players safety is an important part to rule changes. But the NCAA has gone to far with targeting penalties. It’s hard to make a tackle. Some of these calls is bull shit. If it isn’t intentional contact of the helmet’s then there shouldn’t be a flag.
Finally but not least is the holding call. It is the responsibility for an offensive lineman to protect his QB. It is the responsibility of the blitzing defender to sack this QB are at least disrup the play. How the offensive lineman and the defender work this out shouldn’t be up to the officials. As long as their is no chop blocking their is nothing in the rule of holding penalties that protect players safety. That is my dream.

A friend sent this to me. It’s freaking awesome. As one commenter posted, I would love to see video of the booth of the guys calling this! ROLL TIDE!!!
A little more about myself: I graduated from Homewood High in 2023 (currently a sophomore at Alabama) and wrote for our student newspaper my senior year, covering sports. Long story short, Homewood's football team went on a big run in the 2022 6A playoffs and met Saraland in Mobile in the third round, and I made the trip down for the matchup! For those who don't follow AHSFB that closely, I highly recommend going back and watching the whole game; it was insane. This was my introduction to Ryan Williams and his dominance; it's fun to see him do the same things he did to my Patriots at the next level. Login to view embedded media
"My own offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien told me I shouldn't play quarterback," Milroe told reporters. "That's something I have motivation from." When asked how O'Brien's suggestion made him feel, Milroe responded, "How would you feel if I told you 'you suck?
Apparently Milroe was a better QB than Bill was a coach.
A bunch of Alabama commits and targets who were in attendance have already shared their thoughts on social media and with Tide Illustrated. Will continue to reach out and provide reactions and recruiting updates here.
Details from @samspiegelman on Donovan Murph, four-star wideout out of South Carolina. Murph recently visited Alabama and is now a member of the 2025 class.
