Tebow Correct

Everybody knows Alabama has the ability to be super-explosive,” Tebow said. “They have the ability with Jalen (Milroe’s) legs and arm and so many ways they can be explosive. That’s one of their strengths. But what they need to improve on to be one of the best teams in the country and to win a championship, in my opinion, at the end of the year is — can you get first downs when you have to, not just can you get explosive plays?

“But there’s so many times they had last week to put the game away if you have a better four-minute offense, meaning if you can control the time of possession, keep your defense off of the field and take away some clock, they had so many chances to do it. It’s not just, can you have a 60-yard run and explode for a touchdown? Can you have a six-yard run and be 2nd and 4. if Alabama can do that, then this team definitely goes to No. 1 (championship contender) because they have so much ability to make the big play. Can they make the consistent play and can they move the sticks when they have to?”

Come on…

I’m tired of hearing the crying about our defense. Our defense does not have a Daron Payne, Allen, or Q Williams. Plus just like when teams face Milroe you have to put a man to watching the QB on Vandy. To say our defense is not great could be right or could be wrong. Our defense is not why Vandy won that game. Vandy played flawless and the coaches coached flawless. Milroe had an interception which was not completely his fault, he had a fumble, and a crucial mistake running across the LOS, we should have ran the ball a little more IMO. To blame this on the defense or Milroe would be incorrect. This is a total team loss including coaches. Coaches and or players neither one did their jobs. More than that give Vandy credit they had a perfect storm maybe literally. What did we do the year T-Town was hit with the tornado.

Necessary evil

I think coach kd and womack needs too understand sec competition right now. We all saw that two hands in the grass and two standing will get you beat! What’s wrong with oatis, smith,Keenan and Overton putting their freaking hands in the grass!!! This defensive alignment is leaving too much talent on the sideline. I’m rambling right now but a dive, lead and veer all day!!! We all played football, you hit the qb if he keeps it, hell you hit him if he don’t’!!!

Football 🏈 Well, that happened

I haven’t been able to watch the game yet, listened to a good portion of the 2nd half on the way home. Congrats to Vandy players and their fans. You have to be happy for them, this is what CFB is all about.

But from the sound of it, the defense’s major problem is the scheme of it. I heard Roman Harper say before the season his biggest concern about this defense is how this defense scheme gives up a lot of 5-6 yard passes. It sounded like Vandy got every single 3rd and median.

Mac and Cube on D/Wommack

They were talking about Wommack and how he’s a genius with simulated pressures and such. And they expect him to have his best plan ever and get home this weekend with some things we may not normally see and have Beck seeing ghosts.
They also said Bama has only brought more than 4 rushers 4 times this year, even thought Wommack is known for pressure. 4 total times in the whole season…. I’m kinda expecting that to be doubled in the first quarter Saturday. He must be saving everything.
Regardless, they were talking Wommack up pretty big….
