Mine is the 1989 FSU team quarterbacked by Peter Tom Willis. Lost the first two games, then pretty much blew thru a tough schedule and destroyed Nebraska in their bowl game. Who you got?

Wish l could be there, but can't make it. This is a big game as all conference games are and this team deserves support. Students are out of town. Weather is supposed to be bad. Another damn 8:00pm weeknight start. Lot of things working against it, but l got a feeling our great fans will show up in droves and have a great atmosphere for this team.

I got rid of everyone who took part in Senior Day as well as the Senior Bowl entrants and the possible first-round selections. I also included Maryland transfer TE C.J. Dippre, who I project to commit to Alabama next week. By my count, this puts Alabama at 88 scholarship players, three over the limit. Alabama likely needs more than 12 scholarship linemen, so expect some comings and goings.

Lastly, this is just a fun projection, so don't take it too seriously.

In what most consider a disappointing season proves.
What a great football program BAMA has!
What a spoiled fan base BAMA has!
As an “old fart” I can remember years we were happy to go to a decent bowl game and finish in the top five of the SEC!
We need to really, really appreciate all that Coach Saban has done for the program!
I remember when Coach was hired, many people did not think he’d last more than five years!
We need to sit back take a deep breath and thank our lucky stars that he plans to continue this historic run!

We all know how much trouble Coach Leach had with kickers! He even had tryouts in the middle of one season! To see the ending come down to kicking a game winning field goal must have him laughing! A ironic way to end his last season with a bowl victory! Sail on Pirate! R.I.P. Coach!

“It’s gonna help us quite a bit as far as practice goes, I think. He’s a good player, a good shooter. He’ll start to learn the system. He’ll get with Henry, our strength coach, start to get his body right. It’s just different. You can do a lot more in college, a lot more resources. And then I think he’ll help our scout team, too. It’ll make our guys better. It’ll be good to have him around the program and just for him to learn.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Following Alabama's win over Mississippi State, Alabama freshman Brandon Miller has been named the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week, the league office announced Monday. Miller has now won SEC Freshman of the Week for the third time this season.

The 6-foot-9 freshman from Antioch, Tenn. notched his second straight double-double and third of the season, scoring 19 points to go along with 11 rebounds in the Crimson Tide's win over No. 21/20 Mississippi State. The freshman was efficient on offense against the Bulldogs, shooting 46% percent from the field (7-15) and 50% from beyond the arc, making a game-high five three-pointers.
