Drake Maye interesting information…

A friend of mine, a very reliable Alabama friend of mine mentioned to me that Maye has expressed an interest in TP’ing to Alabama. However, he wanted to play this season before hitting the portal. Now that’s the end of what was told to me. 1)My very reliable friend is super credible 2) Has anyone (Mods, Havana, T Wigs, etc) heard anything similar to this?

College Football Playoff Selection Committee chair Boo Corrigan on Nick Saban's playoff pitch

"Yeah, we were in the room watching a game, I believe it was at halftime of one of the games on FOX where Coach Saban was on the Big Ten when he was on, and again, he's advocating for his program, he's advocating for the young men in his program just as other coaches are, and those are the relationships they care about, so I think it was perfectly understandable that that's occurring. But our job, the 13 of us, is to make sure we're focused in on the games and football judgment and make sure that we get that right."

How close was it between No. 4 and No. 5 in your assumptions or your rankings?

BOO CORRIGAN: "Yeah, we're looking at everything throughout the entire year, and from a scale standpoint or percentage standpoint, we don't look at that way. We want to make sure as a group we've talked through everything, that the voices in the room have been heard, and then use our football judgment from that point forward to make sure that we're making the right decisions."

Coach Bryant talked of schedule luck being a big factor.

Boy did Georgia ever have it this year.

Road games at South Carolina, Missouri, Mississippi State, and Kentucky.

Oregon with a new head coach in Atlanta.

Their biggest conference games in Athens.

Then Atlanta for the SECCG.

Now Atlanta again for the CFP semi.

Not taking away the fact that they’re the conference’s best this year, but damn the schedule was sure very good to the Bulldogs in ‘22.

Football 🏈 You can be mad about Bama not getting in the Playoff

But your anger should be directed toward the poor coaching decisions that cost Bama a couple of games. Especially the Tennessee game where the defense refused to change what they were doing and the OC refused to run the ball when Bama was in FG range to end the game. It's a team game and the coaches and their decisions are a big part of it.

Thanks and Congrats to Our Players, Staff and Great Head Coach

We all hate we missed the playoffs by one spot, but l want to personally thank our entire organization for a great year. We missed the playoff by one spot, but in the process we had a 10 win season for the 15th year in a row. lt's great to be a Bama fan and we all know our greatness will continue for years to come.

l know the teams in the playoff are all damn glad they don't have to play the Crimson Tide.
