SEC Game of the Year

November 5, 2022. This will be a clash of the titans type game. I don’t think UGA will be able to keep pace with the Vols and Stetson Bennett is not the QB that Bryce Young is. It will be a brawl as it is played in Athens but TN is having a Cinderella season. They have the offensive game to tear the Bulldogs up. UT’s defense is good enough to limit Georgia (cannot win In a track meet)

The Tide must win out and take the West. A rematch in the SECCG would be a tremendous game and Saban has been money in re-match games. His LSU team lost to the 2001 Vols in the regular season but was able to spoil Fulmer’s best shot at a 2nd BCS Championship.

The SEC Champion will be in the playoff.

As Too’To said following the game we will see them again. I think on a neutral field I’ll take the Tide every time.

The season is still in front of this team. Will they respond? Will this loss be the wake up call this team and staff have needed all along? All they need to do is finish the season strong and they will have an opportunity for redemption and a chance to prove that they are a GREAT team on into the playoffs.

Not a sunshine pumper. This scenario all depends on the character of this team and how they respond. Id like to think there is enough pride they will turn it around. As Coach Bryant used to say “It’s gut- check time!”

Is There Any Doubt Bryce Young The Best QB In College Football!

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind. and I'm confident in the minds of the 9 or more NFL scouts
in the press box for that game. With that thought, as a preface.....some .other thoughts.

1. The 'non-targeting' call to Young, the pass interference call on the Bama interception in the end zone, the
referees actually taking 7 minutes to decide to call an obvious '4th down' on Tennessee (Hmm, I guess that would have been just too. too obvious on national TV), else they would have declared it really only 3rd down.....all this, AND MORE, (like Gary Danielson literally "foaming at the mouth" with glee over all calls against Bama) ..any wonder that I wanted to 'puke' over this unabashed travesty for all to witness?
2. AMAZINGLY, I thought Saban was very classy, humble, quiet in his post game assessment.
3. Will Anderson was a non-factor......BUT, Tennessee using 3 to block him at times.
4. Alabama Safeties.......WHAT SAFETIES? WHERE? Did I miss something?
5. CNS has been preaching the exact SAME PROBLEMS over, over, and over since Game 1.....NO IMPROVEMENT.
6. 'PISS STATE' game should answer some questions.......lets hope in a good way.
7. Gibbs is GREAT, and shame Bryce can't win Heisman twice.

Mind Boggling Stat

Yesterday Stanford, Texas, Oklahoma, Fla. State and BYU all played in very competitive football games that went deep into the 4th quarter...that's 5 teams in tough games that accumulated a combined total of 17 penalties, or the same number we were called for in our game...think about that for a minute...in 300 minutes of competitive football , to the 60 we played, we matched their penalty total...this is sheer insanity and defies logic...in all the games I looked at among the top teams our disparity was by far the worst...USC had 7 more than Utah which was the next closest, paling in comparison to our 11 penalty difference...

It's not just the number that bothers me, it's the timing of the calls (or non calls), that totally changed the outcome of the game IMO...

Neyland stadium needs to be imploded

My wife is still recovering from a broken ankle so we parked in handicap parking and took their bus to the game. We got off the bus near the student section and had to wait on pregame activities. We ended up walking around the stadium to avoid the large crowd in front of the stadium. We walked over to where you pass through security and up the incline to our seats. Their wasn’t any kind of an organized line and it resembled a mob. Several guys beside me had large bottles of tequila and they walked right through security. This was 45 minutes before kickoff! There have been times I thought the entry process at Tuscaloosa was wild but not anymore. Did anyone else have any problems getting into and out of that big pile of concrete?

Football 🏈 Will someone have the balls to ask Saban about the lack of adjustments by his defense?

If I was part of the media I surely would. And if he tried to ask me how I knew they didn’t adjust, my answer would be because I watched the game.

I watched UT line up in the exact same formation and run the exact same play several times in that game and Alabama tried the cover it the exact same way each time.

It looked like when I played NCAA 14 on PlayStation and I find that one play that will work for a TD ever time because the computer never adjusts.
