I believe this defense gave up less points per game than a defense has at Bama since Pruitts last season. And only like 14 points a game after the Vandy loss. I’m not sure what changed after that loss, other than I think Wommack quit coaching linebackers.
A lot to be said excited about with the guys returning. I believe Wommack settled back in as a play caller after awhile. I’d love to know why he adjusted throughout the season with the defense as a whole to the SEC and what was hurting them.
The offense put them in some bad spots and they did a great job limiting damage in many of them.
