Steve Wright. Sometimes I have to take a great one for me. Steve Wright played for two Super Bowl Champions, while with the Packers. Steve Wright died June 1 in Augusta, Georgia. We see Steve Wright every year as in 1969 he was the model for the NFL’s Gladiator Trophy, now better known as the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
