So last week I was visiting my mother, and as I normally do, I sifted through my Dad;s stuff. he passed away almost 15 years ago. My Mom had put aside some old magazines Dad had kept, and among them was a pristine copy of the Sports Illustrated with Barry Krauss leading the way in making the 4th down goal line stand against Penn State. I framed it and now it's hanging in my study with my other Bama shrine pieces.
Anyway, that was like finding buried treasure, and I know that somewhere, my Dad is smiling and so proud that what he kept has been preserved for good.
