Alabama basketball will open its 2020-21 season against Jacksonville State on Nov. 10 inside of Coleman Coliseum. Crimson Tide superfan Luke Ratliff had the honors of making the announcement, revealing the matchup through his Instagram account Monday afternoon.

Last season, Jacksonville State posted at 13-19 record, going 8-10 in the Ohio Valley Conference. This will mark the 14th meeting between Alabama and Jacksonville State on the hardwood with the Crimson Tide leading the series 12-1. The last game between the two programs was in 2015 when Alabama claimed a 67-59 overtime win in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Alabama’s full schedule has yet to be announced. However, there have been several reported non-conference games already. The Crimson Tide is scheduled to host South Alabama on Nov. 18 as well as Houston on Dec. 19 and will also welcome Furman, UNC-Asheville and Vermont into Coleman Coliseum on undisclosed dates. Alabama will play a neutral site game against Clemson on Dec. 12 in Atlanta’s State Farm Arena and will travel to New Haven, Conn. to take on Yale on an undisclosed date.

The Crimson Tide will also take part in the Maui Invitational along with Davidson, Indiana, North Carolina, Providence, Stanford, Texas and UNLV. The tournament will be held from Nov. 23-25 at Lahaina Civic Center on the island of Maui.

Alabama’s SEC slate, as well as times and dates for all of its non-conference games, will be announced at a later date.
