Just got a chance to send in the updated hoops team recruiting rankings for 2017 and once the editors finish with them Alabama will rise all the way from No. 21 to No. 2. Pretty big stuff for Avery Johnson and the Tide.
Depending how the signing period ends, UCLA (No. 5), Kentucky (No. 6) and Duke (No. 12) could all surpass them, but at this point Alabama is pretty much guaranteed a top 5 class. Certainly they are the big story of the early signing period.
