The Gators returned our favor on Thu night with a pile of unearned runs given to us tonight. 9 runs on only 6 hits with 4 of the runs unearned for us. Though Ozmer tried his best to give them all those unearned runs back with walks in the 9th. 9-2 in the 9th became 9-6 with the tying run on deck.
With a win today we also managed to avoid being swept this season. That in itself is huge. We lost a couple series maybe we should've won but getting two sweeps and not being swept is a step up for the program.
Tomorrow will be interesting for seeding in Hoover. We're in a 4 way tie for 6th with au, ut, and miss. With au and miss playing each other we'll get a first round bye next week if we manage to win this series. Lose tomorrow and we'll probably be a 9th seed unless we're tied with miss and we somehow have a tie breaker over them.
If we do manage to win the series tomorrow Adams will have to carry most of the weight as our best BP arms were likely burned today.
