This isn't as much information as the previous recruiting notes posted on Wednesday. Just a few additional things I wanted to add.

Woody Barrett, three-star quarterback from West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Fla., will announce a decision on June 3. Barrett said earlier this month he was closing in on a decision. Alabama appears in great shape for his commitment though some believe Auburn is a major threat. Barrett is a definite take for Alabama as previously mentioned.

Alabama commitment Raekwon Davis, three-star defensive tackle from Meridian High School in Miss., really impressed the coaching staff this spring. He is a massive prospect who stands 6-foot-7, 315-pounds. He committed to Alabama last year when he was still a very raw prospect. He still has plenty to work to develop, but one source said after seeing him this spring, "He will play in the NFL." Alabama will fight hard to keep his commitment.

Tight end is certainly a top priority in the class. Alabama has a few top targets, several have moved up the recruiting board after spring evaluations. The top tight end targets include Devin Asiasi, four-star from De La Salle High School in Concord, Calif., Nick Eubanks, three-star from American Heritage High School in Plantation, Fla., Jacob Mathis, three-star from Berkeley Prep in Tampa, Fla., Luke Farrell, four-star from Perry High School in Ohio, LSU commitment Jamal Pettigrew, four-star from St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, La., and Irvin Smith, three-star from Brother Martin High School in New Orleans La.

The ones to really watch are Eubanks, Mathis and Farrell. These are the three Alabama has the best chance to sign in this class. Alabama may take two more tight ends in addition to Brendan Scales (recruited as a H-Back). All tight ends listed above are takes for the Crimson Tide.

I mentioned several wide receiver targets in Wednesday's recruiting report. Keep an eye on Velus Jones, three-star wide receiver from Saraland High School in Ala. Billy Napier went to see him this spring and was very impressed. Jones gave an early commitment to USC. He is expected to camp at Alabama. An offer is likely.

There were several prospects on the defensive line who impressed Alabama this spring. A few notables outside of the five-star/major targets (Marlon Davidson, Derrick Brown, Janarius Robinson, Jeffrey Simmons, Kendell Jones, Rashard Lawrence) who caught Alabama's attention- Xavier Kelly, three-star defensive end from East High School in Wichita, Kansas, Antonneous Clayton, four-star defensive end from Dooly County High School in Viena, Ga., and Michail Carter, Rivals100 defensive tackle from Jackson High School in Ga. Kelly will visit Alabama next week.
