Alex Leatherwood, five-star offensive tackle and Alabama commitment from Washington High School in Pensacola, Florida, received his Under Armour All-America game jersey on Wednesday.

Leatherwood also shared some interesting news. He will announce a final decision at his school on December 16.

We've seen this many times with recruits who are committed, but take all five official visits. A high majority of the time they are announcing their intentions to stick with their current school after seeing what all the other programs have to offer. Seldom do we see flips to other schools. That tends to happen without a public announcement.

I still don't expect Leatherwood to flip. I expect him to sign with Alabama. He's been a big recruiter behind the scenes for the Crimson Tide. He talks to several commitments almost daily. He will spend a lot of time at the Under Armour around guys like Jerry Jeudy and Mac Jones.

There are certainly some schools he has shown interest like Michigan, Florida, Georgia. He will return to Alabama next weekend for the Texas A&M game.
