Quinnen Williams, three-star defensive tackle from Wenonah High School in Birmingham, Ala., will announce a decision on Tuesday. He won't have a press conference. He will simply call the coaches, commit and announce via Twitter. Williams decommitted from Auburn earlier this month.
His finalists include Alabama, Auburn and Mississippi State. Williams spent four days in Tuscaloosa for the Tide's first summer camp. He has been recruited by Mario Cristobal and Bo Davis for the Crimson Tide.
I consider Williams a top 5-6 player in the state based on his size, skills and game film. He didn't attend camps during the spring which means there were not any national or regional recruiting analysts who saw him. I expect his ranking to rise. I've been pushing for Williams to get four-stars since before his commitment to Auburn. We'll see if it changes in August.
