After another huge home win over a ranked foe, Alabama is back in the tournament picture. They are 13-7 and 4-3 in the SEC. They are currently ranked 43 in the NET and have the 13th toughest schedule in the country. Alabama has another tough game on Saturday in Auburn, but after that game the slate of games gets a little easier. 5 of the next 7 games will be against teams ranked 90 or lower in the NET rankings with a road game at Miss St and home game against Florida mixed in.

For the stretch of games to start conference play to be as difficult as they were, Alabama will come out no worse than 4-4 to nearly conclude the first half of conference play. If Alabama wins the games they will be favored to win, they would finish roughly 18-13. That would put Alabama right on the cut line heading into the SEC tournament. If they could steal one or two games, then they will make it fairly easily. Alabama is still in excellent shape to make the tournament and continue to rack up quality wins.
