TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama’s offensive line is set to see another subtraction. According to a report from Al.com, backup center Brandon Kennedy is transferring out of the program.
The news of Kennedy’s transfer comes after fellow offensive lineman Dallas Warmack announced his decision to leave the program last week.
Kennedy, who will be a redshirt sophomore this season, missed most of last year due to injury. He received a medical redshirt. The 6-foot-3, 305-pound lineman was Alabama’s second-team center during spring camp.
Kennedy played as a reserve in four games last season before suffering his injury. In 2016, he saw action in seven games at the guard position. Kennedy came to Alabama as a four-star recruit in the 2015 class.
