I think the playoff committee just found the 1st major flaw in the system! Boise State getting a bye as 1 of the 4 "highest ranked" conference champs is a F'n joke! There is no way in hell the Mountain West conference champions deserve a bye over the BIG 4 conference champs (SEC, ACC, BIG 10, BIG 12)! Conferences are not created equal and I think they need to have the BIG 4 conference champs recieve bye's and chose the highest ranked "small" conference school to be that 12th team and allow them to be ranked anywhere from 5-12! Because if we are being honest the 12 team playoff could easily be 6-7 SEC teams, 3-4 BIG 10 teams, and 1 team from both the ACC and BIG 12!🤷♂️🤷♂️
