I apologize if this has already been put out but here is updated info on Chris. Chris is the voice of Alabama baseball, basketball and on the field voice for football. He host the Coach Saban show after each game. A great guy that never meets a stranger. There is a GoFundMe account set up for him to help with extensive medical expenses. RTR

As many of you know, Chris Stewart had heart bypass surgery on August 12, 2019. The surgery was successful and Chris was able to return home several days later, but while recovering at home, Chris developed a fever and an infection that affected his kidneys, lungs, and blood cultures. The fever also left him dangerously dehydrated and he was admitted into the hospital where he has spent the last month undergoing extensive treatment. Chris is making steady, but slow progress, and still has a long road ahead before he can be released from the hospital. The doctors are unable at this time to assign a timetable for his recovery.

Those of you familiar with Chris know that he has had health struggles over the last 15 months, having suffered a stroke in 2018. Most importantly, we ask for continued prayer for Chris, Christy, and their children as this is, understandably, a very difficult and stressful time for them. Having already spent an extended stay in the hospital, and facing several more weeks before being discharged, the Stewarts are facing significant medical expenses. With this is mind, the family would greatly appreciate any financial assistance offered by friends, fans, or those who just would like to help by contributing. God Bless!
