Heard from Kaleb Edwards, four-star tight end out of California set to join Alabama in the summer about the Ryan Grubb hire. Grubb and DeBoer visited with and recruited Edwards when they were at Washington, so I figured his thoughts on the hire were worth sharing:
"Iām excited to be coached by him he was great at Washington. I thought he used tight ends very well and often so Iām excited for that aspect especially. He might also be even better now because of that NFL experience he has so I canāt wait to learn from him."
