Coach K [Duke] Announces Retirement

Given everything that has changed with the CBB landscape in the past year I would have reservations about handing things over to a guy on my bench with little to no experience.

With the new landscape in college basketball, I would guess Coach K‘s records are safe!

I guess Nate Oats ran him off after he claimed BS on Dukes coach for wanting to cancel the rest of the season after he lost 2 games right out of the chute. I think CNO was spot on and should not have been pressed to apologize to him.

LOL if you seriously thing Coach Oats had anything to do with probably the greatest basketball coach of all times retiring at the rip old age of 74. I guessing Coach K has close to 100 wins in the NCA tourney along if not more, and likely a higher winning percentage in the tourney than Oats has in his career. The man is a legend the likes of what Saban and The Bear is in football...

I was saying that Nate ran Coach K off tongue in cheek. Wooden, Coach K and not many others if any are the goats of college BB and everybody knows it.
It's hard to tell who is being serious around here; I'm sure some fans think what you said has some validity to it.

That said, it's why I put the “if you seriously think,” leaving room that you might be joking.

Makes me wonder what Saban's eventual, hopefully in a decade or two, retirement will look like. The GOAT'S in their respective fields with no one duplicating their achievements for as long as the game is played.
