Will enroll at Alabama early. He will enroll and be eligible to play in conference play, but he will ultimately redshirt this year. The most important thing is he will be able to get practice reps this year.

Harp, I have not seen any video of Cosby, but I hear he is really good shooter. Do you know?
Practices this year and visiting all these SEC stadiums will pay dividends next fall. We may lose 6 guys from the current roster.

Incredible shooter at 6’7. Plays really good defense as well. Getting him in the weight room and start practicing will do wonders for him
This is great for his, and our programs, future. I think he is the only member of our signing class who could possibly make a major impact next season. Getting 3 months of practice time in our system should give him a significant head start in his career here.
That is a little short sided. The 6-9 kid seems like he is a player. Who would have thought Clowney would be this good? Lots of things can happen in a year.

I think Walters is a project who can develop into a solid player, but he is rail thin. I just don’t think he’ll be ready to hold up from a physicality standpoint next year.
Why redshirt? Doubtful he stays four years and if he can help win one game, it would be worth it.
If he comes in, and shows he deserves to be in the rotation in front of somebody else, or we have a lot of injuries, then he sure should get time. CNO will play him if that’s the case. I think we need to go all in this year, because how often are we going to have a team that is not only this potentially good, but has a truly “special” player on it like Miller.
He is, but so was the kid from Gonzaga last year who was 7 feet. If he can shoot, he will play.
Holmgren was the #1 recruit in the country. Walters isn’t even in the top 100. I’ll be surprised if he makes an early impact. Hope he proves me wrong.
You learn something everyday. l didn't know early enrollees were eligible to play in games.
Walters is #44 in rivals and #108 in 24/7. I have learned not to doubt Oats on recruiting. Most of them have worked out.
Rivals is the only recruiting service that has Walters in the top 100. He is rated lower than any of our current freshmen were. I'm not doubting Oats, just pointing out that Walters is more than likely a project as opposed to being an instant impact player.

Walters will play, good shooter for 6’9 , he will get better hard worker .
